Basic Workflow

The basic workflow for using Audio Tags Editor involves opening MP3 files, viewing their metadata, editing tags, and saving changes. Below are the steps to follow:

Editing Tags

1. Open an MP3 file(s)

   • Use File → Open or the Open button in the toolbar
   • Select your MP3 file in the file picker dialog

2. View current metadata

   • Select desired file(s) in the top File Browser
   • Current tags will display in the Tag Editor Panel
   • Album art (if present) will appear in the Album Art Viewer

3. Edit metadata fields

   • Click on any field to edit its value
   • Common fields include:
     • Title
     • Artist
     • Album
     • Year
     • Genre
     • Track Number
     • Comments

4. Save your changes

   • Use File → Save or press Command + S
   • All changes will be written directly to the MP3 file
